*Celebrating a victory!*

I have a history of thyroid disorder, fatty liver, and prediabetes. I went to the endocrinologist today and all my lab levels were normal! I am no longer in the prediabetic range!
Over the past 5 months these are the changes I have made to make progress:
๐ก I have learned how to measure how many grams of carbs I am eating, limiting to 30g a meal, and keeping a meal log.
๐ก I have been adding more movement through my day. I used to get around 3,000 steps a day and now I am getting 5,000-6,000 some days extra I did this by walking more through my regular work day activities.
๐ก I have been drinking more water and natural sugar free flavored drinks (bottled flavored iced tea, and flavored lemonade packets) A big help in this was buying a water bottle I liked and I also got a lanyard that I can carry the bottle when I am walking around.
๐ก Having healthy snacks available that include protein.
๐กDeveloping health habits like sleep hygiene and limiting caffeine to the mornings. Giving myself time to relax when I had a long day and winding down. I use a habit tracker app and medication reminder app to help me keep my schedule and track my progress on my goals.
